One does not prepare for that feeling when they are about to go to someplace interesting for the first time. On December 2015, I joined a friend’s family trip to Switzerland and England, making this my second Euro-trip. These are tales of my wonderful journey~
The journey from Kuala Lumpur to Zurich took about 15 hours including the transit time at Dubai, travel time’s not a big issue as long as you got the right tools to keep you occupied.
7 hours from Kuala Lumpur and I finally had a glimpse of Dubai, lots of sand with specks of green, and a huge city surrounded by the desert. Touchdown and I only had about an hour to board the next flight, I started running. I really wished I had more time at Dubai International Airport because it would really be a treat to explore the huge place, didn’t even have time to take pictures.
Finally reached Zurich about 7 hours later that evening, it was nerve-racking to be alone and cold in a different country but luckily the cab driver I got was kind enough to walk me to right to the front door of the apartment.
Had a snack and called it a day. The day was less eventful but a very long one, which is a good thing cause I wouldn’t want any drama happening on a travel day.
